Biography
Name: Peter O’Driscoll
Based in Makati, Philippines and Dublin, Ireland;
His work is inspired not just by the modern masters of street and documentary photography such as Alex Webb but also by the post-impressionist painters of the early part of this century such Paul Gauguin.
He has held two solo exhibitions in Taipei, Taiwan and been a finalist exhibited at the First Light Gallery as part of the Brighton Festival, GB.
In November 2013 he co-organised, curated and participated in an exhibition and charitable auction for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda held at the 1335 Mabini Gallery. In total 27 artists contributed work including: the cream of local talent; a Pulitzer prize winner (Marissa Roth); and Time magazine cover photo of the year by Philippe Lopez.
